Weuste who came to the United States of America from Bergneustadt, Germany in 1923 at the age of 18 and lived in Kansas 3 years to work as a farmhand to repay his passage. He migrated to Dubuque, lived in Davenport and settled in Andrew, Iowa in 1946. Thru Pop’s experimentation and perfection of his hobby wine making, his love of wine and his recipe have evolved into Keith’s expression of tradition: “Pop’s Passion”
